Two years in

So today marks the second anniversary of Moesphoto. And in trying to rebuild in Texas during a global pandemic and quarantine has been challenging to say the least. My event photography has ended as there are no events. Finding people to shoot with is difficult in an area where I don’t know anyone. Facebook has become an absolute sewage of bans and bad news. Yet I have to stay on social media to try to get my work out. It’s been disheartening, to say the least. I’ve been running a contest for a free 24x36 print. All folks had to do was share my page on Facebook and help me get new followers. I actually lost a follower instead. I just want to find a place to hang my work, so badly. When people see it, it sells. When people see the greeting cards, they sell. When people see the calendars, they sell. Between being new in Texas and this damn coronavirus, I’m just totally stymied on how to get my work out. It’s even hard to get out and explore to take wildlife photos. I’m on a motorcycle and it’s over 100 degrees every day. It’s like riding in a convection oven. So I’ll keep plugging along and hope to make it until the quarantine is over. As always, thank you to those of you who help support Moesphoto. I appreciate you so much.
